Stamford "Big O" Cookout Video Clips.
On August 8th, 2009 five intrepid Orion Outdoor Cooker chefs gathered in Stamford, CT from MA, NJ, CT, GA, and TN to show off their culinary prowess. I hosted this event and was glad to meet the guys from the Orion discussion board: Buffalo Man, RootDJK, Orion1 and Cajun Ken... All-in-all, we had about thirty attendees. From BBQ ribs and beef brisket to smoked corned beef and prime rib of beef, even brined sockeye salmon, this crew was able to please even the most sophisticated connoisseur. We had a "Top 10" day at beautiful Cove Island Park as a backdrop for the event. This is a short video documenting the event and set to music... I think it really captures the fun spirit of the day.
